Olympic Authority Partners With RAIN

RAIN to Serve as Official Premium Water of the Olympic Authority Venues

The New York State Olympic Regional Development Authority (Olympic Authority) announces a partnership with RAIN Bottling Company, bringing together two organizations committed to environmental sustainability and healthy living. This collaboration reflects a shared vision for a cleaner and greener future as both continue to prioritize sustainable practices.

RAIN is the Official Premium Water of the Olympic Authority venues that include the Olympic Center, Olympic Jumping Complex, Mt Van Hoevenberg, and the Belleayre, Gore, and Whiteface ski resorts, where guests can enjoy RAIN’s pure mountain spring water from 100% recyclable aluminum bottles. Sourced from sustainable artesian springs, this refreshing and healthy beverage option benefits guests and reduces the planet’s reliance on single-use plastics.

“Sustainability is a top priority for the Olympic Authority and a focus as we transformed and modernized each of our venues over the last seven years,” said Liz Mezzetti, the Olympic Authority’s Sales and Marketing Director. “We are thrilled to partner with RAIN as their sustainability efforts, naturally sourced ingredients, and excellent value align with our principles and further resonate with our guests.”

As part of this partnership, the Olympic Authority will prominently feature RAIN’s branding across its venues and digital platforms. This strategic visibility will serve as a platform to showcase RAIN’s unwavering dedication to environmental stewardship and further establish them as a frontrunner in the sustainable beverage industry. The partnership also allows RAIN to directly connect with a group of people that embraces both healthy lifestyles and environmental consciousness.

“RAIN is honored to support the Olympic Regional Development Authority by keeping athletes and guests hydrated with sustainably sourced and packaged natural spring water,” said RAIN Founder, Mark Majkrzak. “We are proud to partner with organizations like the Olympic Authority who share the same stewardship and respect for the environment.”

RAIN Bottling Company’s innovative approach to bottled water production reinforces their unwavering commitment to environmental stewardship. By bottling their spring water at the source, RAIN ensures minimal environmental impact while delivering a high quality product.

The Olympic Authority’s transformation over the past seven years has modernized each of its venues to meet the requirements of hosting major international events while enhancing experiences for recreational athletes and non-sporting guests. With more than 1.1 million visits last year at its venues in the Adirondacks and Catskills, the Olympic Authority successfully hosted numerous world-class sporting events and generated a total economic impact of $341.8 million for the communities it serves.

“The facilities are looking great, and the guests are responding as we saw with last year’s record-breaking numbers,” Mezzetti said. “We have another exciting schedule of events and activities planned for this year, and we are excited to share this level of brand visibility and opportunities with RAIN.”
