RAIN Sends 250,000 Bottles of Water to Victims of Hurricane Helene

My name is Mark; I founded RAIN five years ago. We set out on a mission to slow the use of plastic with something very familiar: bottled water. In those five years, RAIN has matured and adapted to market changes, policy changes, consumer habits and otherwise. Our goal has been, and will never depart from, plastic-free, recyclable packaging. However, we have found a new area to make a profound impact, together with the support of our community: disaster aid.
Together with your support, RAIN shipped nearly 250,000 bottles of water to Western North Carolina in the days and weeks following Hurricane Helene. I truly believe that together, we saved lives. We thank you for your contribution. The Citizens of NC, first responders, and medical teams also thank you.
Relative to our competitors, RAIN is a small company in this industry. That is a superpower. We can act fast, responding when the need is the greatest without waiting for corporate bureaucracy to organize. As the company continues to grow, I will ensure that we always remain in a position to help, one we are fortunate to occupy. To this end, RAIN will develop a set-aside fund where we will point a portion of our annual sales toward disaster relief efforts.
I am reminded and grateful that it's the people who make this country great. Each of you makes this country great. We live in a divisive time, but those differences disappear when our neighbors are in need.
Lastly, I want to thank our supplier partners, freight providers, company customers, employees, and local companies big and small for their support.
Thank you again,
Mark Majkrzak
